Black History Month makers Highlights
In celebrating 30 years of the Sacramento Black Expo held during Black History Month, founder and CEO Rick Warren is working with elected officials, educational institutions, corporate America and local citizens to present the most spectacular exhibition ever created in honor of those incredible people who have made indelible contributions and achievements which make them Black History Makers. These remarkable people will have their contributions placed on the "Great Wall" where photographs, biographies, and historical recollections will tell the stories of people who have sacrificed, worked, toiled and fought against bigotry, and racism to bring forward equality into the lives of Black people. The Black Expo theme of Black History Maker's From Home is a homage to our history and future.
